The legacies we leave begin with life now…

We don’t often take enough time to talk about endings.

And when we do, we discover that these conversations aren’t only about death: they’re about love, values, purpose, and our lives today. Join us for conversation and a new educational series about living with intention, preparing for our future, and creating lasting legacies.

Together, we will explore practical steps like health care directives, estate and funeral planning, and key wishes, alongside deeper conversations about faith, memories, and stories.

By learning together and talking honestly, we can:

·        ease the burden on those we love

·        make choices that reflect our deepest values

·        create space for our stories and faith to live on

Who is this for? Every adult, of every age! Truly. Too often, important and tender decisions are left unspoken until it is too late—leaving loved ones to guess at our wishes, or missing the chance to pass along wisdom and gifts that could guide generations to come.

Lasting Legacies is a space to reflect and prepare from a place of love, not fear.  Our goal is to make space for sacred learning and (dare we say) fun!

Health Care Directive Workshop

led by Christin Ament

Sunday, September 28th 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

registration closes Thursday, September 25th

Christin is a hospice and palliative care provider with over 15 years at the bedside. She is also a death doula, integrative medicine practitioner, and grief facilitator. She serves as the Executive Director at The Bardo – an organization that supports people on diverse journeys related to death, loss, and end-of-life.

Planning for end-of-life care is a crucial step that ensures your preferences are honored when the time comes.

Do you know what your options are? Do you have them written down?

While discussing and documenting these wishes can be difficult, it is a necessary process to guarantee that your voice is heard and your wishes are honored. Everyone who participates in this workshop will leave with a COMPLETED Health Care Directive.

Even if you have a health care directive already, you will benefit from this workshop! Please bring it with you.

*Lunch and childcare provided with prior registration (by 9/25)
